STONEFIELDS PRIVATE TOURS 2026
Experience the garden at Stonefields in each season through the eyes and words of its creator Paul Bangay. Each garden tour will be conducted by Paul personally, with tour numbers around 24 people to personalize the tour. Book as a single or small group. Following each tour, Paul’s current ‘in print’ books will be available for purchase and signing, and morning tea will be provided, where you can mingle and chat with Paul on a more informal basis. This is a special opportunity for passionate garden lovers to enjoy the garden in the company of the designer. Your own transport to the garden will be required. Cost is $295 per person.

EARLY SPRING – Friday 2nd October 2026
Late September, early October is the grand arrival of Spring at Stonefields, when all the white and black Tulips in the parterre terraces are in full show, along with many coloured tulips planted throughout other parts of the garden. The groupings of Japanese crab apples make a spectacular display of blossom to provide no doubt that sunnier days are here to celebrate.

LATE SPRING – Friday 20th November 2026
November is a prime flowering time of the year in the garden, with many plants fully emerged from their winter sleep and in full bloom including the salvias, aquilegias, geraniums, roses and iris.
The white garden is at its best now with waterlilies, white aquilegias and Sibirican iris en-masse and complementing the season.
The red rose garden and woodland gardens are particularly enchanting and well worth the visit, definitely a magical time of the year.
