ABOUT THE PROJECT
A rewarding and very inspiring collaboration with Studio McQualter. This coastal/city garden revolved around four courtyards, each exposed to varying degrees of salt laden wind making planting schemes challenging but interesting.
The overriding brief was for layers and interest in the plantings to disguise the boundaries and to take you from an often hostile outer landscape to protected oasis inspired by middle eastern courtyards.
